Gifted Children Scholarship Fund:
Gifted
Children Scholarship Fund (GCSF) was established
in the spring of 2000 in northern California. Its mission is
to support talented, under privileged children with their
education. Unfortunately, too many talented children are
forced to leave school at a tender age to help support their
families.
Many
of these students possess exceptional academic talents,
and would continue to excel academically, given the right
opportunity.
| These young children have the potential to serve as role models for their peers, and to have constructive roles in their communities. GCSF helps them fulfill their vision for the future by allowing them to continue their education. |
GCSF grants scholarships to such talented children
which helps
provide the much needed financial, moral, and academic support.
In addition to the financial support that it provides, GCSF works
closely with these students to ensure their academic success and
overall well-being. Each of the recipients is encouraged and
expected to participate in practical ways and to contribute to the
development of the communities they live in.
Since
the
GCSF is run by volunteers in US and abroad,
it has no administrative
costs.
The
GCSF organization has four elected Executives,
and
ten-member Board
of Trustee.
The executives are
elected
by the GCSF general
assembly of
members and supporters.
