Gifted
Children Scholarship Fund (GCSF) was established
in the spring of 2000 in northern California. Its mission is
to support talented, under privileged children with their
education. Unfortunately, too many talented children are
forced to leave school at a tender age to help support their
families.
Many
of these students possess exceptional academic talents,
and would continue to excel academically, given the right
opportunity.
These young children have the potential to serve as a role
model for their peers and to carry the vision of continuing their
education and serveing constructive roles in their communities.
GCSF gants scholarships to such talented children which help
provide much needed financial, moral, and academic support.
In addition to the financial support that it provides, GCSF works
closely with these students to ensure their academic success and
overall well-being. Each of the recipients is encouraged and
expected to participate in practical ways to contribute to the
development of the communities they live in.
